AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI OFFICE OF COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in their discretion, may donate a sum of money not exceeding Two Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($2,800.00), from any available funds, during the calendar year 1999 to the University of Southern Mississippi Office of Community Service Learning.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
